CDR King M-Series Firmware

This is the firmware for CDR King M-Series. You can flash this firmware in Phoenixsuite or Livesuit. This is not the stock ROM but rather this is an alternative ROM. All features are working, like the camera, wifi etc etc...

Identity ESP E201K Hard Reset Stock ROM

Hi,

Another rare tablet has landed in my workspace and this is the Identity ESP E201K. I think this is a Korean tablet because of the Korean letters that are written in the screen when you are flashing the phone.

Download the Firmware
E201K - First ROM
E201K - Final ROM
*Extract the file in your desired folder*

Flashing the ROM
1. You need to extract the First ROM that you have downloaded in your sdcard. Just put it in the root of your sdcard no folder needed.
2. Power Off your tablet and insert the SD Card in your tablet
3. Power on the tablet. It will display a Korean Letter with blue background. It will restart several times (4 times) before displaying the android logo. When you see the the android logo it is done flashing the first ROM or firmware.
4. Extract the final ROM in your sdcard. Just put it again in the root folder of your sdcard. And insert again in your tablet.
5. Press the Reboot putton near the HDMI cable. You can press it with needle.
6. Again when it power up you will see Korean letter with blue background and wait for it to finish flashing. When it is done it will reboot into normal state.

Hard Reset / Factory Reset your Asus Memopad K0W




This is my first time to post a ASUS brand. I will gonna start it with ASUS Memopad K0W. You need PC and memory card to wipe the tablet. Or if you another phone you can download it, in its memory card and transfer it in the tablet. You can also have your way to transfer the file in your sdcard.

Make sure that you have enough battery juice before doing this tutorial. And just a reminder this will wipe all the data in your tablet.

This can remove password, gmail account in your ASUS Memopad K0W.

After downloading the file extract it in your SDCARD.

Do not put it in any folder. Just in the root of your SDCARD.

After extracting the file

1. INSERT the SDCARD in your Tablet
2. POWER on the tablet and wait for the MENU to appear
3. Select CLEAR USER DATA. Press VOLUME DOWN AND UP to navigate, To select press POWER BUTTON (See picture below)


4. Reboot your tablet

You have successfully factory reset or hard reset your ASUS Memopad K0W. I hope this tutorial help you.

DTC GT5s Removing pattern lock, password or even gmail account

Hi there,

As I announced in my UPCOMING TUTORIAL section. This one is for DTC GT5S. For those of you that forgot your password or pattern lock, or gmail account. I found a way to wipe your data / factory reset.  This one involves or need a PC to wipe your DTC GT5S. I have tried this in my windows XP machine via virtualbox. But you can try it in Windows 7 or Windows 8 if you have the necessary driver’s or if the program will RUN in your desired operating system.

First you need to download several files.




1. Duragon  -->  Duragon
2. Driver –--> Spreadtrum Android
Spreadtrum Widows 7 Driver
 

"For 64bit user's I am not sure if this procedure will work for you. But I can guarantee that this will work in 32bit Windows OS."

NOTE: You need to exclude the files that you extracted because the antivirus treat it as a virus. Or better yet, you can run this program in Virtualbox as what I have did.

If you already have the driver you can go ahead and open Duragon,exe

NOTE: Before proceeding make sure that your USB connection is not loose. I am not responsible if your phone is bricked when it stop in flashing.

Installing the Driver First

1. TURN OFF YOUR PHONE
2. Press VOLUME DOWN or VOLUME UP, and then insert USB CABLE
3. In your PC it will detect as unknown device
4. Locate your Spreadtrum Android driver and install it.

After installing the Driver

1. Open duragon.exe
2. Follow the instruction in the picture below.

3. After Pressing START BUTTON
4.  PRESS and HOLD VOLUME DOWN OR UP and insert USB CABLE


5. WAIT for it to finish.
6. When it is done reboot your phone.

Board ID ET-86V2G-V1.1 stock rom/firmware to unbrick your tablet

This post is a copy paste from my BS Mobile Neptuney post. 




I haven't posted a firmware in a week already, so today I'm going to post a ROM. The firmware is compatible with BS MOBILE Neptuney. The board version is ET-86V2G-V1.1 but the firmware is for board version ET-86V2G-V1.2. Using the firmware did not cause any unwanted issue.

Remove password, pattern lock, gmail account in your Alcatel One Touch 4030E (One Touch Glory 2)

Hi ya'll


I have another tutorial hard resetting / factory resetting your phone. This time it is the Alcatel One Touch 4030E also known as the One Touch Glory 2. You can remove password, pattern lock and gmail account lock up by performing factory reset. Sometimes this can fix hang in logo if the firmware is not damage.  Without further ado check the procedure below.



1. Turn off your phone
2. Press and hold VOLUME UP and POWER Button
3. This will activate the android system recovery
4. To navigate press the VOLUME rocker
5. To Select Press the POWER Button
6. Select wipe/factory reset
7. Reboot your phone

NOTE***
If after factory resetting your phone and you still have password, pattern lock or gmail account lock up. You need to wipe the cache first in android system recovery and perform wipe/factory reset again.

Board ID ET_Q8v1.6 to firmware unbrick your tablet

This tutorial is for a different tablet, I will just replace the firmware.




This will also work in ZH&K Sapphire.

You can fix the following issue:

  1. Bootloop
  2. Softbrick
  3. Forced Closing Apps
  4. Hang in Logo


This firmware is for BOARD ID T736 V2.3. This tablet usually have a A23 cpu or chip. Already tried this firmware and it is working well. Back Camera, Front Camera, Sensors, Wifi all is working. If something is not working in your tablet then maybe it is not supported in this firmware. So just try another firmware  ;)

Hard Reset your Eurostar ePad ET7142G-B13

Hi there,

I will help you to hard reset your tablet, just follow the instructions carefully. This procedure will wipe all your data. If you have precious data in your tablet, sorry but I cannot help you how to retrieve it. Unless you know your gmail account and you can still connect in your wifi connection.

If your first time reset your tablet, I'm sure that I can help you with this tutorial.

In this tutorial I will gonna teach you how to hard reset your Eurostar ePad ET7142G-B13 Tablet . This can fix the following issues that you are experiencing in your phone:

1. Force Close Apps
2. If you forgot your Google Account
3. Hang in Logo issue sometimes
4. If you forgot your pattern lock






Ok lets do it. Just follow the procedure

1. Press Volume Up and Power Button Simultaneosly. A selection will pop up. (See picture below)


2. Select Recovery mode, (we can also use fastboot method but today we will just use the android recovery tool which is built to this tablet)
3. Upon pressing Recovery, you will see an android robot with exclamation mark, press power button and a selection will pop up.
4. Press wipe/factory data (something like that i forgot the exact words. :D) This would take about 2 minutes to wipe data just be patient.
5. Reboot the tablet and your phone is back in its original state. SMILE :)

GenX Crystal GX7 3GI PLUS firmware/stock rom to unbrick your tablet

Hi,


This firmware is for  GenX Crystal GX7-3GI-PLUS tablet, I was able to make a ROM Dump of this tablet. I can't confirm if it's working.

You can fix the following issue in your phone:
1. Bootloop
2. Damaged System UI
3. TP Upgrade only
4. Dead phone but it is detected in computer
5. Remove Gmail Account / Password / Pattern Lock (Alternative Way)
6. Privacy Protection Password Lock up

Installing Driver with AutoInstaller

First try the Alternative Driver, which is the AutoInstaller. Just open the install.exe then it will automatically install the driver. To fully check if the driver is correctly installed in your computer. 

Follow these steps:
  1. Turn off your phone (always powered off is a must)
  2. Press and hold volume up or down, or you can simple press the two button.
  3. Insert your USB cable without releasing the VOLUME button(s).
  4. In your computer, it must detect your phone and it will install the MTK Preloader or Mediatek USB VCOM driver.
  5. Repeat 1 to 4 if it does not detect your phone.
  6. If MTK Preloader/Mediatek USB VCOM Driver is installed you are good to go in flashing your phone ^_^

Installing Manually using VCOM Driver


When installing it manually your phone must be turned off, then connect it to your computer/laptop while pressing VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN. This will detect and look for the driver.


 1. This is the first time that you will connect your phone and it will search for the correct driver.

2. Check include this location ... ... and click on browse. Look for USB VCOM Driver and Click on 2K_XP_COM folder if you are using Windows XP or Win7 for Windows 7 and then press OK when you are done picking the right folder for the driver.


 3. If the driver is successfully installed MediaTek DA USB VCOM will appear in the New Hardware Wizard.

"Your Phone must be turned off when you are ready to connect and flash your phone"

Flashing
1. Launch FlashTool (flash_tool.exe)
2. In Flashtool, Click on Scatter-Loading, and load your scatter file. (see example below)

Note: As you can see there is two scatter file try first the regular scatter without the _PMT in it's file name. Then proceed the file name with _PMT in it's file name if you still experience problem.

 3. After you load the file, UNCHECK PRELOADER and DSP only (Never flash preloader and DSP if available in firmware), press Press Download to Flash your Phone.


4. After you press Download Follow these steps
  • Turn off your phone (always powered off is a must)
  • Press and HOLD volume UP or Down or you can simply press it simultaneously
  • Insert your USB cable without releasing the VOLUME button(s).
  • Keep on repeating until Flashtool detected your phone.
5. If successfully detected just wait until the progress bar reaches 100%. If your phone did not automatically turn on after flashing, remove battery and USB cable. And put back your battery then turn on your device.



"Hard reset your phone after flashing"

Some workarounds:
If you encounter PMT_Changed error here is what you do:
In Latest version of Flashtool

  1. PMT_CHANGED error occur when firmware is not compatible with your phone. Sometimes your phone has a different board version. You should check it too, if your firmware is compatible with your phone. 
  2. Try Firmware upgrade
  3. Try different version of flashtool
  4. Try to set Format All + Download
  5. Or try Manual Format first then Download.
If you encounter Privacy Protection Password:

  1. Open flash_tool.exe
  2. Load the scatter file
  3. Goto Format Tab
  4. Click on Format except bootloader
  5. Press Play/Start Icon
  6. Then remove battery
  7. Insert the battery again
  8. Insert the USB cable (you should hear a beep on your computer, and it should proceed in formatting.)
  9. After done formatting proceed in Flashing.
  10. Goto Download tab (I assume that you loaded the scatter file already)
  11. Uncheck PRELOADER (this is very important)
  12. Press Download
  13. Then remove battery
  14. Insert Battery again
  15. Insert the USB cable (you should hear a beep on your computer, and it should proceed in flashing or downloading the firmware in your phone.)
  16. Power ON the phone after flashing.
  17. Restore your IMEI.

For Invalid IMEI (Does not work in MT6571 SoC):

  1. Root your phone via vRoot/iRoot/Kingoroot or your preferred method in rooting you device. Your phone must be rooted first.
  2. Download MTKDroidsTool version 2.4.8 and version 2.5.3
  3. Enable your USB debugging in Developer Option (you also need this in rooting your phone via PC)
  4. Okay in your PC -- Open MTKDroidstool version 2.4.8 (Mtkdroidstool.exe) first. Make sure that you connected your phone already.
  5. Still in Mtkdroidstool -- Click ROOT
  6. In your phone -- A pop up dialogue will appear, just grant or allow it.
  7. In your PC -- If root shell is granted/allowed, Click in IMEI/NVRAM tab. If it is grayed out this is the time when you open the MTKDroidsTool version 2.5.3.
  8. Enter your original IMEI
  9. Click Replace
  10. Reboot your phone


FOR DAMAGED BASEBAND or UNKNOWN BASEBAND (Your phone must be rooted first)

1. Make sure you have MTKDROIDSTOOL version 2.4.8 or version 2.5.3 (you can search it in google)
2.  In MTKDroidstool (I assume you launch the tool) -- Click in Root. 
3. In your device -- After you press Root, you need to authorize it. A pop up message will appear. Click Allow/Authorize depends on your root application.
4. In MTKDroidsTool -- Click in IMEI/NVRAM, then click in RESTORE.
5. Then look for the folder where you extracted the NVRAM files.
6. Check if the Baseband is fixed. And if the IMEI is fully restored.
7. If Baseband is still Unknown and IMEI is invalid. Then you need to hard reset first your phone.
8. After hard reset your baseband should be fixed already. (base on my experience)
9. If your baseband is fixed sometimes the IMEI is still invalid. So you need to restore the IMEI.
10.  To restore IMEI follow Step 1-4, but you should not restore. You should fill the IMEI then click REPLACE. Then reboot your phone.  VOILA! I hope the phone is fully working :)

Neo Omnipad A74 Stock ROM, Alternative ROM, Pattern Lock, Google Account Removal, Flashing

Before you proceed flashing / hard resetting your phone / tablet make sure to back up your important files if possible. Because we care about your data.

We also suggest that your battery should be atleast 50% or better to have it fully charge, lower than the said value may cause unwanted result, such as bricking your phone / tablet rendering it unuseable. This is very important in flashing your phone / tablet. Use original USB cable as possible.

Files that you downloaded should not be corrupted, if ever the file is corrupted you might brick your phone. Or the flashing will start.

Drivers are very important specially in Spreadtrum Chipset, having an Spreadtrum SPD6610 (non android devices) driver will not work in SPD6820 (android devices).

If you are using laptop to flash your phone, make your that it has enough charge. If your laptop shutdown when your flashing your phone/tablet, you'll end up bricking your phone. Sometimes you can still recover your phone just flash it again and your phone will boot up again. But that is just a case to case basis, if your phone / tablet is deadboot (totally dead, erased all program in the chip) you can't recover it, you will need to seek professional help (technician).

This is the stock ROM of Neo Omnipad A74 or alternative ROM of Neo Omnipad A74, all hardware are working including the camera, wifi, touchscreen etc...





The tools and firmware are already included in the file that I will provide.

This tutorial fix the following issues in your tablet:
1. Google  Account Lock up Removal
2. Pattern Lock Removal - this is the alternative way if  the usb debuging mode is not activated in the settings
3. Hang in Android Logo
4. Bootloop
5. Forced Close Applications
6. Accidentally deleted systemUI

OK let's proceed.

1. Download the firmware and tool here  --- >>> Firmware Tool
2. If you are done, extract it and install first the Pad Firmware Upgrader which is located in Pad end user upgradev1.01, It has already the driver when you install the software for flashing. Run setup.exe to install it.
3. Connect your tablet to the PC, your tablet should be power off, wait for the driver to install.
4. Open Pad Firmware Upgrade, Start>All Programs>Actions Tools
5. Click the green icon



6. Then juli.fw which is the firmware
7. Then press upgrade button. And connect your tablet in your PC.


Note: Driver is already included in the Pad Firmware Upgrade Tool, just connect your tablet in your PC and that will automatically install the driver.

Wait for it until the progress bar reach 100%. Just wait patiently :) When its done flashing sometimes the tablet does not power up automatically. Just press the reset button at the back of the tablet. Or try pressing the power button for about 10 seconds.

How to remove pattern lock and password in Telego G403

Hi there,

If you are looking in how to remove pattern lock / password and PIN in your Telego G403 you came into the right place. This short tutorial will wipe your Telego G403 and restore into its normal state.




But before that, you must need to know that doing a hard reset will delete all your data, I MEAN ALLLLLLLLL your data. So do not blame me for that. If your data is precious to you. The only way to retrieve your data if you know your gmail account and also you must connect to your data connection or wifi connection.

So here is the procedure:

1. Press VOLUME DOWN and POWER BUTTON simultaneously
2. A phone with exclamation mark will appear
3. Press VOLUME UP to activate Android System Recovery
4. To select press POWER BUTTON, to navigate Press VOLUME DOWN
5. Select wipe / factory reset – after that reboot your phone.

NOTE: If factory resetting did not succeed try wiping the cache first and then wipe and factory reset afterwards. This will also fix bootloop problem sometimes and hang in logo only.

Remove password, pattern lock, gmail account in your ZTE Z992 Avail 2

This is my first post to hard reset a ZTE Mobile brand. This phone is the ZTE Z992 Avail 2 it's from AT&T.



Hard resetting / factory resetting your phone will solve the following issues:
1. If you forgot your pattern lock
2. If you forgot your gmail account
3. If you forgot your password
4. Apps that automatically force closing
5. Stuck in Samsung Logo (sometimes does not work if the firmware is totally damage)

NOTE: Performing hard reset will erase your data.

To hard reset:

1. Turn off your phone
2. Press and Hold Volume UP +Power Button simultaneously
3. Android System Recovery will appear.
4. Select wipe / factory reset, to navigate press the Volume DOWN, to confirm press Power Button
5. Reboot your phone.


Note: If performing hard reset did not succeed, you need to wipe the cache first in the android system recovery before performing wipe / factory reset.

  2. After downloading copy the update.zip in your memory card.
  3. Then boot into recovery mode by pressing volume down + power button
  4. an Android logo will appear, just wait until it goes to android system recovery
  5. In android system recovery select “Apply update from sdcard” and locate the u2 firmware. Wait until its done.
  6. Reboot your tablet.

That's it your phone is back in its original state.

  3. Navigate to wipe data/factory reset (to navigate press volume DOWN, to select press Volume UP)
  4. Select Yes – delete all user data (to navigate press volume DOWN, to select press Volume UP)
  5. Reboot your phone


That's it your phone is back in its original state.
